Steamed, semi-hard, unripened, semi-skimmed, smoked cheese.

Made from honest cow's milk of the White Carpathians, with a specific technology of steaming curds, without the addition of chemical additives and stabilizers. The most famous Slovak traditional product. It has a firm consistency and unmistakable taste. Brick shape and a glossy, unstructured surface. It is smoked on a beech wood chip, giving it a characteristic yellow-brown surface color and a delicious smoked smell and taste.

It is suitable for preparing dishes of cold and warm cuisine, for roasting, grilling, frying. It can be served  as a dessert and also as a separate delicacy to beer and wine.
